Dry Goods Management

Ensuring and adequate supply of spices, paper, bags, foil, cartons and labels is an important task that is directly driven by consumption.For this reason SureMeat now includes a Dry Goods Management module for the managing and planning of dry goods inventory.

The dry goods management module is built to interface directly with any third party purchasing system. Outstanding orders can be viewed by promise date. Receipts automatically create transactions that increment inventory levels.

Packaging activity causes inventory levels to be decremented based on the Bill of Material for each product produced.

The system supports multiple inventory locations and transfers can be made between locations. Inventory can be adjusted with a physical inventory adjustment at any time.

Demand planning uses both the planned production and the planned receipts. Deficiencies are highlighted so that materials on order can be expedited or production can be adjusted accordingly.
