User and Device Based Security

The SureMeat system uses both user based and device based security. Menu items and rights can be restricted based on the user and also based on the computer. This means that a supervisor may have different privileges in the office than out on the floor.

In order to minimize the typing of user names and passwords and avoid security breaches associated with password based systems, smart cards and biometric readers are also supported.
