Transportation & Receiving

The transportation and receiving module tracks the hogs from the farm to the slaughterhouse barn.

Scheduled deliveries from producers are grouped into assemblies that may occur at an assembly yard. These assemblies are then assigned to loads.

Each load is then received at the slaughterhouse barn and assigned to one or more pens.

The system tracks all relevant information about the assembly yard and the trucking process. From this information it is possible to know which animals may have come into contact with each other in the event that there is a food safety event.
